Key responsibilities
-Program Support
Maintain and organize the visual database. Prepare program overviews and support assessment moderation. Assist the PPS team during Intensive Weeks.
Support current and future international collaborations and collaborative projects with the workfield. Manage social media channels and increase visibility of the program and the work of our students and team in relevant networks. Support the development of the alumni network.
-Production & curatorial coordination
Final showcase: Contribute to the discussion and design of the frame and content. Participate in curatorial sessions and selection of works. Coordinate logistics and provide practical support for the showcase.
Mini-residencies: Collaborate with researchers from the professorship Artistic Connective Practices to produce mini-residencies.
Profile
MA level arts or equivalent experience
Professional English proficiency
Local resident (focus on on-site activities)
Background and experience in the arts (visual arts is preferred)
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Meet our team
The international Master Performing Public Space (PPS) is designed for international creatives from a variety of art disciplines, who currently focus on public space as their artistic environment. We work in small team of teachers and tutors. All of them have an active artistic and research practice.
This is how you make an impact
This role combines organizational, curatorial and communication tasks. Expertise in the field of visual arts and/or artistic research and experience in working with professional artists is required. This role is a bridge between students, teachers, the program director, and the professional field.
