Kristel van Issum, docent Fontys Dance Arts in Context, is genomineerd voor de prestigieuze Duitse theaterprijs Der Faust 2025 in de categorie Choreografie. Haar nominatie is voor het werk “Winterwende”, dat zij maakte voor het Staatstheater Kassel.
Kristel van Issum is een gerenommeerde Nederlandse choreografe en medeoprichter van het dansgezelschap T.R.A.S.H., bekend om haar grensverleggende en vaak rauwe, fysieke stijl. Haar werk kenmerkt zich door een intense expressie en een sterke visuele en emotionele impact.
Uitmuntende prestaties
De Faust-prijs wordt jaarlijks uitgereikt door de Deutsche Bühnenverein en de Deutsche Akademie der Darstellenden Künste, en geldt als een van de belangrijkste onderscheidingen in het Duitse theaterlandschap.
