Each year in November Nuffic presents the Week of the International Student. During this week, participating educational institutions all over the country organise activities to connect Dutch and international students. This year from Monday 14 till Friday 18 November 2022.
The Week of the International Student 2022 | Nuffic (WotIS) showcases the importance of an international experience for both Dutch and international students. This year’s theme Meet the world, make the change highlights the positive change students and alumni can make as global citizens. Equality of opportunity is key in this. Everyone should have the chance to have an international experience, so that they can go on to make a difference, no matter how big or small. The WotIS activities focus on connecting and inspiring students and can vary from talk shows to outdoor walks. All activities are free of cost.
Fontys Program
Several institutes are organizing activities during this week, for example a Cultural Fair and Language speed-dating in Venlo, Food Festival ‘Flavours of the World’ in Eindhoven and there’s also an online workshop “Positive thinking”. You’ll find the complete Fontys program here
Nuffic WotIS Walks
You can also choose to participate in the WotIS Walks. The WotIS Walks are walks through Dutch student cities for and by Dutch and international students (for more information, please read: Students break out of their bubbles during the WotIS Walk | Nuffic). Register here.
In Nederlands
Elk jaar in november presenteert Nuffic de Week van de Internationale Student. Tijdens deze week organiseren deelnemende onderwijsinstellingen door het hele land activiteiten om Nederlandse en internationale studenten met elkaar in contact te brengen. Dit jaar van maandag 14 tot vrijdag 18 november 2022.
De Week van de Internationale Student 2022 | Nuffic (WotIS) laat het belang van een internationale ervaring zien voor zowel Nederlandse als internationale studenten. Het thema van dit jaar Meet the world, make the change benadrukt de positieve verandering die studenten en alumni kunnen maken als wereldburgers. Hierbij staan gelijke kansen centraal. Iedereen moet de kans krijgen om internationale ervaring op te doen, zodat ze het verschil kunnen maken, hoe groot of klein ook. De activiteiten van WotIS zijn gericht op het verbinden en inspireren van studenten en kunnen variëren van talkshows tot buitenwandelingen. Alle activiteiten zijn gratis.
Fontys-programma
Verschillende instituten organiseren deze week activiteiten, zoals een Culturele Beurs en Taalspeeddating in Venlo, Food Festival ‘Flavours of the World’ in Eindhoven en er is ook een online workshop ‘Positief denken’. Het volledige Fontys-programma vind je hier.
Nuffic WotIS Wandelingen
Je kunt er ook voor kiezen om deel te nemen aan de WotIS Walks. De WotIS Walks zijn wandelingen door Nederlandse studentensteden voor en door Nederlandse en internationale studenten (lees voor meer informatie: Studenten breken uit hun bubbel tijdens de WotIS Walk | Nuffic).
